Study Hall: Get Sh*t Done Fall

from $300.00

The Finishing School teaches women how to fight imposter syndrome, articulate their worth and stop leaving money on the table.

Study Hall is a community-driven, deep work sprint designed for ambitious, busy and burnt out girlies. You’ll gain structure, energy, and a new way to work—while actually seeing results.

Whether you’ve worked with me before or you’re just discovering The Finishing School, this is your space to focus, move forward, and actually make progress on the things that matter, especially for your career and bank account. We’re getting things done—with other women who get it.

What it is:

  • An accountability and action club focused on career growth. All sessions will last 75 minutes and will include a exercise/lesson and heads down work

  • A 3-week sprint with up to 4 sessions/week—attend 1, 2, 3, or all 4.

  • Each week will include an invite to the Auditorium, a hot seat group coaching session where you can ask me anything, from how use networking to enlist advocates who tell you about jobs before they’re posted to how to negotiate thousands of dollars more when your offer comes in. The Auditorium is more than a resume review (because we both know you can get ChatGPT can do that). This is your chance to bring your mess and turn it into momentum, acknowledge (and give yourself credit for) progress, make plans for the next week and get helpful advice on navigating any blockers.

Why it works:

  • Body Doubling: Your brain pays attention when others are focused too. Distractions fade. Momentum spreads.

  • Connection: Share wins, swap ideas, troubleshoot, and feel seen. Alone is lonely. Together is electric.

  • Support: Exercises, frameworks, and group insight make your work smarter, not harder.

  • Accountability: Declare your goals, celebrate progress, and keep moving when motivation dips.

  • Proven Strategies: Learn innovative, new ways to navigate your career with confidence, market yourself as a top performer and command a compensation package that matches your career experience and wins

How it works:

  1. Opening: Quick discussion, tool, or prompt to get you focused and ready

  2. Get Sh*t Done Time: Career case studies, side hustles, scary networking emails, audacious ideas—whatever you need to level up

  3. Closing: Reflect, celebrate, lock in momentum

Who it’s for: Women who are deadline driven, benefit from structured, focused sprints, and want to be part of a community of other women navigating layoffs, pivots, and big scary next moves.

The logistics:

  • Cameras on, fully present, start to finish

  • There are 10 zoom sessions and you are welcome to join as many as you’d like.

  • September cohort starts early fall, September 3, 2025

What Students Are Saying

Taking The Finishing School course was an absolute turning point for my career and one of the best decisions I've made. Before this experience, I was ready for a new role but struggled to communicate my value, network with intention, and find opportunities that truly aligned with my goals. Alison’s coaching changed all of that. Her structured, supportive approach helped me refine my personal brand, giving me the confidence to advocate for myself in both interviews and negotiations.

One of the most powerful aspects of working with Alison is her genuine care and dedication to each person she coaches. Alison took the time to understand my unique strengths and challenges, offering tailored guidance, scripts, and tools that were thoughtfully designed for my journey. She fosters a supportive, empowering environment that inspires confidence and lifts people up. Her encouragement and expertise helped me secure a dream role with compensation that reflects my value. If you’re ready to stop settling and start making real strides, The Finishing School provides the clarity, skills, and confidence you need to make it happen. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!”

Kristin, User Experience Designer

The job market is brutal and often demeaning, and Alison's support was invaluable. She validated my frustration, worked through my issues and celebrated my wins. Hiring Alison is a no-brainer for any woman who deserves more (that's all of us)!”

Sara, Communications Leader

As a creative, I can say that Alison is a master at what she does. She shared amazing tools and strategies to attract companies that in the past had been out of reach for me. She was personally invested in my success and held me up through each part of our work together. Together we celebrated my amazing new role after just a a short time of collaboration. I highly recommend Alison to anyone looking for a new career opportunity and looking to earn extra credit making lasting impressions.

Gina, Fashion Designer

I cannot recommend Alison highly enough. She helped me through several months of career stress, transitioning out of one job and into the next. She provided me personal support and professional insight that I couldn't get from anyone else. Furthermore, she helped me hone in on what I wanted to do and how to get there. When it came time to negotiate an offer (which came quickly, thanks to Alison), I was able to negotiate a 16% higher salary than what was offered. I know Alison's tips will help me throughout my career and I will not hesitate to have another session should I need one.
